Stephan Malinowski



Stephan Malinowski is a lecturer in Modern European History at the University of Edinburgh. He was trained at the Freie Universität, the Technische Universität and the Humboldt University in Berlin, at the University of Montpellier, the European University Institute in Florence and at the Centre for European Studies at Harvard. He taught modern European history at the three universities of Berlin, in Cologne and Dublin. His research focuses on 20th century German history, particularly on the history of the Third Reich, and on the history of European colonial wars in the 20th century.
